Endangered Polar Bears Video

They are adorable, cuddly and absolutely vulnerable. Polar bears capture the admiration and attention of folks the world over for their fluffy bright coats and huggable size. They win honor from animal fans for their searching ability and survival techniques in one of the harshest atmospheres on Planet. But regardless of their frustrating appeal these giants are in threat of being wiped off Planet totally.

Ice melting really should be a core focus of conservation energies for the polar bear as this is actually impacting the polar bear the most. Polar bears depend on enormous stops of moving ice to execute their day-to-day exercises associated to staying alive. Polar bears prey on fat-laden seals from these stops of ice, they mate, as well as some also deliver their cubs on them. The issue with the ice melting is that several polar bears have gone hungry because there is not enough ice for them to hunt their prey. This affects their capacity to reproduce as well as bring their cubs to term that immediately impacts human population quantities. Even, when ice is actually too far from land, polar bears are going to drown trying to swim a long way distances to find them. All of these aspects have made the polar bear more land bound.

Intervention in the form of government authorities to lessen human influence has actually been highlighted as a top priority in America and other countries. In addition, exclusive providers and interest groups go on to lobby and work with the government to defend this valued animal in its natural habitat. Apart from government intervention, more investigation pertaining to world-wide warming is crucial so that the temperature change are able to be actually put a stop to or countermanded. There are actually agencies that are actually raising money for this incredibly function. Another way communities are helping the polar bear is to make use of experienced bear patrol agents to keep the land bound polar bears from people as well as to make sure that the bears are not competing as well really with the folks for the food sources on land.

Well polar bears are really cute, the media & environmentalists just use the polar bear as an example of what can occur because of your climate change, but many different animals, plants, etc, would be affected greatly by a climate change. They just choose one specific animal, so the public can digest it easier. If the polar bears were to become extinct, whatever they are predators do would overpopulate, there would still be other kinds of bears, just not the polar bears. But climate change as a whole would completely change the world. People would have to be evacuated from places where they are unable to live because of extreme temperatures, and little island nations would be completely wiped off the map.

…This is truly a difficult question. The short term impacts and economical impacts is probably towards the Zoos. For enviromental effect it will damage the Food web in the artic very severely, depending on the importance of the species it will have a huge or small scale of impact in terms of enviroment.Socially…well the only thing I can think of is Animals Activist raging against the Government for doing nothing to save the Polar Bears.Culturally and Politically…this is unlikely to be honest….back to the food web topic. If the food web is damaged,it is likely that other animals will go extinct along with the Polar Bears and the animals Polar Bears hunt(Seals and fish) will over-populate and cause a negative impact on the enviroment.

Very good Essay! I enjoyed reading it, but it can use polishing. To make your essay tighter, you can insert transitional words. The grammar and mechanics are used correctly and you are a very good writer. Transitional Words/Phrases: Retrospectively, It is of great interest to note, All in all, On the other hand, Research shows, and To Summarize.

Is global climate change going to cause human extinction? I have been reading, and there is no denying a change in climate. I don’t want to hear about polar bears, species have been going extinct for billions of years. I’m sure the first people of the planet were distraught to find no mammoth, but I’m sure they didn’t miss sabre tooth tigers eating them. Climate change will change the coastline and our weather, but is it going to kill us, or will our coasts just move, and our humanity adjust and survive?

Just look at how long global warming has been going on: the last Ice Age ended 11,000 years ago. In that time frame humankind has increased from several million (just a guess, I don’t know the real number of humans 11,000 years ago) to over 6 billion. I don’t see how climate change has hurt us yet.

The extinction of polar bears natural? When you think about it animals becoming extinct has been going on since the beginning of the world. I don’t think it would necessarily be a bad thing.People did not become emotionally involved when dinosaurs died out. Why would it be any different with a polar bear other than it is cute. Isn’t this just another gradual natural process of evolution like the dinosaurs? Ok, I can see alot of people are emotional about this. I am not hoping the polar bears become extinct. The opposite, I think they are beautiful creatures and would be sadly missed in our life time but I think it is eventually going to happen. I don’t know that I believe the population is up 300%.

Species don’t just die out. There is always a reason for it and it’s always because some natural balance was thrown out of whack.

Dude, It isn’t a gradual process! Humans are responsible for the deterioration of polar bears. In prehistoric times humans weren’t there, thus they could have no emotional connection. However Polar bears live in our era and we are to take good care of them. We aren’t though, because of our avarice for electricity. I mean we need electricity, but not as much as we are currently using. The polar ice caps are melting, thus the polar bears are losing homes. They then try to swim to the next one and before they get there they are fatigued and they then die. In a nutshell, it isn’t just another gradual process, because polar bears weren’t meant to be extinct! I’m sorry to be a tad harsh but on the topic of global warming I become emotional. PS. SAVE OUR POLAR BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO, THE POLAR BEARS ARE NEARING EXTINCTION DUE TO THE ENCROACHMENT OF MANKIND ON THEIR NATURAL HABITAT AND THE LOSS OF HABITAT DUE TO GLOBAL WARMING RESULTING FROM THE BURNING OF FOSSIL FUELS AND WOOD.

People weren’t around when the dinosaurs died out. If polar bears became extinct due to natural processes, that would be one thing. However, if they became extinct because of human activity, that would be an entirely different matter. We need to be better stewards of our planet and the life upon it. Biodiversity is a great advantage of our Earth! If you are not concerned about the polar bear becoming extinct, will you be concerned about the next life form to become extinct? Where do you draw the line? Will it finally be when humans are on the endangered list?

First the animals die because of human overpopulation, then people. Who wants to live in a world where all the animals have died? Even the fish and polar bears in a huge country like Canada are dying, and all over the world animals are dying as farmers and builders dig up the natural habitat of animals. When will religious people stop defending the extinction of animals just to produce more babies and increase membership in their racial or religious sub-groups?

I am Christian and I believe we are supposed to be good stewards of the Earth and it’s animals. We were put in charge over them. It is a directive from God himself to do so. To do nothing less, is a sin. So, don’t lump me in with the rest. I am not of that mindset. Just my humble opinion.
